Yesterday was the three-year anniversary of my first date with Dan. We celebrated by drinking a lot of wine and baking chewy chocolate chunk and walnut cookies. The chocolate chunks were leftover from the Christmas truffle-making experience, not likely to be repeated soon.

When the cookies were ready, we brewed up some espresso and settled in for a perfect night, one of many, many more.
