I just spilled coffee on my new copy of ZZ Packer’s Drinking Coffee Elsewhere (it’s finally out in paperback!), but I resisted the urge to wipe the coffee off on my new coat. I guess I’m slowly inching my way toward adulthood afterall. ZZ Packer is reading next Monday at 7:30 PM at the Barnes & Noble in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It’s free.

Those of you who can’t sit through a reading — or who rarely agree to leaving the Lower East Side — will be happy to know that Miss Lindsayism’s Ritalin Reading Series is debuting March 23rd at Pianos. Given that I have the attention span and patience of a three month-old chihuahua, I’m looking forward to hearing more about that.
